A textural white drinker's heaven!
Folio is one of Roussillon's benchmark white wines. It is a sumptuous blend of Grenache Gris (90%) and Grenache Blanc (10%) from 32 tiny parcels of gnarly old vines planted to schist soils high above Banyuls. This is as far south in France as you can go, nestled into the foothills of the Pyrenees on the frontier with Catalan Spain. Barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts, it ages on its fine lees for six months. The wine is simultaneously rich, elegant, vibrant and clean. An umami delight, it shows floral blossom, wild herbs and a little 4that decorate its silky, medium weighted body.
