Some wines can't simply be ordered — they have to be earned. Our collector allocation wines represent the producers whose output is so small, and whose reputation so significant, that access is strictly limited. These are estates that produce just a few thousand cases per vintage, allocate to importers by the box rather than pallet or container, and sell out before most wine lovers even know they exist.

At Mountain & Row we have worked hard to secure allocations from a small, hand-picked group of sought-after producers — including Tiberio, whose Trebbiano Abruzzese and Pecorino have made them one of Italy's most celebrated white wine estates, and Antoniolo, the benchmark reference point for Gattinara in Alto Piemonte, whose single-vineyard wines are among the most age-worthy and collectable Nebbiolo produced anywhere in Italy. Then there is Famille Isabel Ferrando (coming soon), the modern legend of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, making some of the most transparent Grenache-driven wines in the world. These bottles are available in strictly limited quantities. When they're gone, they're gone — often until the next vintage allocation arrives, if we're lucky enough to secure one.
