Spain produces some of the most exciting and undervalued red wine in the world — and our range reflects that conviction.  Grenache, known here as Garnacha, is our great Spanish passion. Old-vine Garnacha from Rioja and Navarra produces wines of gorgeous red fruit, texture and complexity — often from vines planted over a century ago in soils that have never seen chemicals. These are wines with real personality and a sense of place that commercial Spanish wine rarely achieves. Alongside Garnacha we stock Tempranillo-based wines from producers who prioritise terroir over formula, and Syrah from growers who understand the variety's capacity for savoury, structured, age-worthy wine in the right hands. Many of these bottles offer extraordinary quality relative to their price — particularly when compared to the heavily marketed, oak-laden commercial Rioja that dominates the mainstream. These are the real thing: small estates, organic farming, and winemakers who'd rather make something honest than something easy.
