Italy's finest aperitif white wines are made from the ancient grape Prié Blanc, grown at the foot of Mont Blanc - the furthest, and Frenchiest, reach of Valle d'Aosta (the country's smallest region). This Blanc de Morgex et la Salle is fresh and fragrant with aromas of apple, thyme, blossom and fleshy white nectarine. It has a vital core of saline acidity and all the alpine acqua minerals one could desire. True to style a little CO2 remains in the wine offering a touch of effervescence that also helps protect the wine. Sublime work from one of the world's prettiest white grapes.
