Now over ten years of age, this is your chance to see the stature of this phenomenal rare wine. There is so much going on here - black forest fruits, deep woodland earth and an edge of fine chocolate. It is generous yet elegant in delivery, everything superbly balanced and fine. The palate weight is medium to full, with pristine acidity underscoring the luscious, long juice. There are less than 36 bottles of this wine left on the planet. Made by Elena Conti, the wine is 75% Nebbiolo, 20% Vespolina, 5% Uva Rara. The three varieties were vinified separately in steel before coming together for three years in old, 500 litre 'botti'. No sulphur was added until a tiny dose at bottling.

We recommend tasting next to one of Ermanno Conti's 1980s or 1990s Boca wines from the same site and from the same vines. Pre and post global warming with each winemakers technique visible. Ultra rare.
