Sweet and fortified wine made with the same dedication to quality and heritage that we bring to everything else — not confected or cloying, but wines of dazzling complexity, restraint and a clear sense of history and place. Our selection spans the great traditions of European sweet and fortified winemaking: the fortified Grenache of Banyuls from Roussillon — one of France's most extraordinary and under-appreciated wine styles — alongside Passito wines from Italy, where partially-dried grapes produce wines of extraordinary concentration and depth, and the great Vin Doux Naturels of southern France.

A particular treasure in our range is the Vin de Glace from Cave Mont Blanc — an ice wine made from Prié Blanc, the ancient indigenous variety of the Valle d'Aosta, harvested in the shadow of Mont Blanc in winter. One of the rarest and most remarkable sweet wines produced anywhere in Italy, it is an oxidatively handled ice wine built on glacial acidity and with extraordinary complexity — unlike anything else we stock.  These are wines built for the table, not just for dessert. A great Banyuls alongside dark chocolate or aged cheese, a structured Passito with foie gras or blue cheese, or a small glass of Vin de Glace to close an exceptional evening — sweet and fortified wine in the right hands is one of wine's most rewarding and under-explored categories.
