Grenache — known as Garnacha in Spain and Cannonau in Sardinia — is our second great passion, and one of the most versatile and rewarding red wine grapes on earth. In southern France, Grenache produces the wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Roussillon and the Côtes du Rhône — rich, textured, warmly fruited and capable of extraordinary complexity and age. In Spain, old-vine Garnacha from Rioja and Navarra produces wines of haunting elegance and finesse, often from vines over a century old. In Sardinia, Cannonau — one of the oldest Grenache plantings in the world — produces wines of Mediterranean depth and a new-wave freshness that is turning heads internationally. Many of the wines in this collection also feature Syrah — a variety that adds structure, spice and intensity, and one that sits at the heart of some of the world's most celebrated bottles.
