Brooding red fruits, rocky earth tones and structure for days indicates that this bottling is built to last. 'Alpine' herbs, polished cedar and little cherries build the wine with surging acidity pushing it forward and keeping it tight and closed for now. A little more firm and direct than the 2015 and brilliant wine for medium term cellaring.
