Osso San Grato is the finest vineyard in Gattinara and a monopole that is handled organically by the Antoniolo family, often yielding one of the world's finest Nebbiolo wines. Spontaneous, long fermentation is fuelled by indigenous yeasts and extraction is ever so gentle. Aromatically it offers an assortment of red forest fruits that are accompanied by mint, brown spices and liquorice. Polished tannins are present, lending serious definition and posture to the wine. Extremely rare.
