A little cellar release from one of Valtellina's great Nebbiolo producers.

The nose is fine and layered: red currant and sour cherry, wild rose, then black pepper and alpine herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh, with fine but firm Nebbiolo tannins and bright mountain acidity. A stony, savoury thread runs through to a long finish.
