Domaine Lalaurie is one of the most charming and characterful producers in our Languedoc range — a family estate near Narbonne where twin sisters Camille and Audrey represent the tenth generation of an unbroken farming lineage. The estate's 52 hectares are spread across the hills around Ouveillan, a small village near the Canal du Midi, north of Narbonne. The dry, windy Mediterranean climate means the vines are rarely treated — the estate has been working towards High Environmental Value certification, farming with the same care for the land as for the wines. Camille, the oenologist, handles winemaking with great skill and delicacy. Audrey manages sales and export. Together they have breathed new life into a centuries-old family project. The wines are raised entirely in stainless steel — no oak, no artifice, just pure fruit and gentle structure. They are fresh, elegant and immediately appealing: the Rivage Blanc, driven by Sauvignon Blanc with great mineral cut and citrus freshness; l'Orage, a juicy, rewarding blend of Syrah and Cabernet; and the L'Artiste Rosé from Cinsault, Grenache and Cabernet — vibrant and dry. These are wines for every occasion — honest and representing superb value for money.
