Colle Corviano is one of the great value discoveries in our range — a sustainability-focused family estate in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo, producing pure, driven wines of impeccable varietal character at prices that are hard to argue with. Based in the heart of Abruzzo — one of Italy's greenest regions, home to four national parks and a rugged, mountainous landscape that defines the character of its wines — Colle Corviano runs entirely on 100% renewable energy sourced from local wind farms. Sustainability here isn't a marketing exercise; it's a lifestyle and a business philosophy that extends from the vineyard through to every human relationship the estate conducts. In 2019, star Nebbiolo enologist Paolo Benassi — known for his exceptional work at Tenuta Sella in Lessona, Alto Piemonte — joined the project, taking the wines to a new level of precision and purity. The results speak for themselves. The range covers the great native varieties of Abruzzo: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo — one of Italy's most rewarding red grapes when made properly, pure with sour cherry and inky fruit — alongside an age-worthy single-site Pecorino, a Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Cerasuolo (Abruzzo's distinctive pink wine from Montepulciano), Sangiovese and Pinot Grigio.
