Bodegas Nekeas is one of our favourite discoveries — a family estate in the Nekeas Valley of Navarra, northern Spain, producing wines and olive oil of extreme quality and exceptional value. The Nekeas Valley sits at the foot of the Sierra de Perdón, where a dramatic combination of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences creates a microclimate of significant day-night temperature variation. This thermal contrast slows the ripening of the grapes, building complexity and preserving the natural acidity that makes Nekeas wines so fresh, elegant and food-friendly. The range spans whites, rosés and reds — with Garnacha and Tempranillo at the heart of the red wines, and Garnacha Blanca producing one of the estate's most exciting bottles, the '25 Vendimias'. The flagship El Chaparral, made from 100% Garnacha vines 70 - 140 years old, is one of the great value red wines of northern Spain — concentrated, complex and deeply expressive of its place.  Alongside the wines, Nekeas produces award-winning extra virgin olive oil from Arbequina and Arróniz olives — Navarra's only native olive variety — with a trademark deep green intensity and vibrant acidity that sets it apart from anything you'll find on a supermarket shelf.
